In the begining of Macbeth we talked about Lady Macbeth and Macbeth's relationship, the characters in Macbeth, the witches, how we were going to figure out what they were saying because of the Shakspear language, and of course that there is a lot of blood in this play. I know that blood is gory but it makes several appearances in Macbeth. We see this throughout the play because Macbeth kills a lot of people and there are several times when they talk about blood. It all starts when he kills Duncan because after he killed him he had to keep killing people, including his best friend, to get what he wanted, which was to be king.Throughout this book, there is several murders and a battle at the end against Macbeth. Also towards the end Lady Macbeth starts sleep walking to try to get rid of the blood so the blood also comes back to haunt them.

I agree with you! I think it's crazy that he could kill his best friend... I think that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth deserved to be haunted by Banquo and the blood because they did do some awful things to people that were close to them.
ReplyDeleteI think all the problems in this book happen because Macbeth basses all his decisions off the prophesy. If he had not have killed Banquo, he may well have gotten away with everything. That is when everyone starts to suspect him of murder and starts to hate him.
